How does the adoption process work?

Before i explain the process please let me tell you that I always make my "WE ARE EXPECTING" announcement with the pictues of the parents I am expecting litters from on my facebook page under, TTCATS CATTERY MAINE COONS. It is ALWAYS best to like my page and follow me there for updates as well as litter announcements.

Our kittens are available on a first come first serve basis. We normally do NOT keep a waiting list.  We do NOT let them go home before 3-4 months (NO exceptions). We do NOT ship. If kitten is flying we do NOT let kittens go before 16 weeks. You MUST fly to San Francisco or Oakland, CA and we will meet you at the airport. All kittens are sold on contract, come with a health guarantee, and lifetime support. 

All our kittens are $3,250 regardless of color or sex.  We require a $750 non-refundable deposit when the kittens are 4 weeks old. (Deposit goes towards the purchase price)  kittens 8 weeks and older payment in full is due at the time of reservation. ALL kittens are spayed/neutered, microchip before leaving the cattery (NO EXCEPTIONS!)  Kittens will also receive two vaccinations (Excluding Rabies, unless required to ship or they are 4 months of age and older) and a vet health check before going to there new homes. Local buyers will receive a kitten care package. NO KITTEN LEAVES FACILITY AT PICK UP IF YOU DO NOT BRING A CRATE!

We use Pine Pellets & feed our kittens/Cats a RAW diet along with canned food and kibble.

We have been breeding Maine Coons exclusively for over 15+ years and have bred EVERY color imaginable within the Maine Coon breed. It has been a lot of fun showing the different colors and while doing so we have fallen in love with the SILVERS & SMOKES and want to take our cattery in a whole different direction with some fabulous lines that we have acquired from some great breeders! TTCATS Cattery is now focusing and specializing in SILVERS (yes this includes red silvers, silver patch, blue silver) SHADED (silver shaded, blue shaded) SMOKES (black smoke, blue smoke, red smoke). The transition is starting to take place in 2023 and will be fully working with these colors EXCLUSIVELY in 2024! We are beyond excited with the new direction our cattery is going along with broadening our education to learn all there is to know when working with the SILVER gene. Our goal is to strive to make the most MAJESTIC cat within these colors that you have ever seen! We hope you will join us and become apart of our new adventure. When kittens are born they are ALL placed on a BREEDERS hold for the first 4 weeks. The first four weeks are the most critical in newborns. I do NOT accept deposits to be placed on a waitlist nor do I accept deposits before 4 weeks of age.

I will post kittens on my Facebook page (Ttcats Cattery Maine Coons) as well as try to update my website. If you see a kitten you are interested in it is BEST to private message me on my FACEBOOK page as I am terrible with checking emails. 

If you are interested in a specific kitten and he/she is available i will accept a non-refundable deposit of $750 when kitten is 4 weeks of age which goes towards the total purchase price of $3,250. (If ANY kitten available is 8 weeks or older payment in full MUST be made in order to reserve your kitten). I will also send you an "INFORMATION SHEET" which has important information that you MUST read because it pertains to foods we feed, litter we use, visitation time and address.

Visitation is a group visitation with all families getting a kitten from the same litter. Visitation takes place when the kitten is 8-9 weeks of age ALWAYS on a SATURDAY from 11am-1pm. This is where you will visit with your kitten, sign my original contract, pay for your kitten in the form of CASH ONLY and where i will go over food/litter/litter box/grooming/microchiping/paperwork/supplements we use as well as answer questions. IF you cannot make visitation the balance is still due (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Please be advised that I, (the BREEDER) have every right to refuse the sell of my precious kitten(s) if I feel it is not a great match and will refund ANY and ALL monies back to you. I also have the right to unwind the sell if I feel the kitten turns out to be show/breed quality that I want to keep in my breeding program and will refund your monies back to you. (So far this has NEVER happened, BUT I always keep that option open).

If you the buyer backs out of the contract I do NOT and will NOT refund ANY deposit towards the purchase of the kitten and will consider it a donation to my cattery. 

I do pictures every 2-3 weeks so you can see your kitten as they grow. Please be advised that I have a F/T job outside the F/T cattery as well as a family life. I do my best in getting y'all pictures in a timely manner.

I do allow you to take pictures of your kitten ONLY at visitation and consider that as my week off from taking photos! (lol), 

ALL kittens go home no earlier than 13 weeks and no later than 16 weeks with 14 weeks being more the normal. ALL kittens leave spayed/neutered, microchipped with the microchip being registered to you. You will also have your kittens registration paper, copies of parents testing and pedigree along with a kitty package to go home with.

NO kitten leaves my cattery without a crate, or a carrier bag, soft crate. NO cardboard boxes!
